CITS uses optional Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, how they arrive, and whether they open articles, shop profiles, shop websites, or directions.

Analytics starts only if you allow it

Before you accept, we do not load the Google Analytics tag or send analytics events. Declining does not affect access to the site. Use Analytics preferences in any page footer to change your choice. We remember that choice in your browser for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice may be requested again.

What is measured

When enabled, Google Analytics receives page information, referral information, device and browser information, approximate location, and selected click events. Google uses analytics cookies to distinguish browsers and visits. Counts are estimates and exclude visitors who decline, block scripts, or use supported browser privacy signals.

Our tag removes query strings and fragments from page and referral URLs. We do not send directory search text, email-link contents, names, or email addresses as custom events. Shop actions contain a shop identifier or destination domain; they do not confirm a purchase or store visit.

Your controls

Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in our tag configuration. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by leaving analytics off. Changing your choice to decline disables collection and removes the Google Analytics cookies this site can clear. Previously collected data is not erased by changing your browser preference.

Other services

Our hosting provider processes requests to serve the website. Google Fonts and Wikimedia images may load when you visit, independently of your analytics choice. Map, shop, and source links open other websites with their own privacy practices. CITS does not run checkout, account registration, or newsletter forms.
